After a line modification on the edit view, the outline views is flashing
during up to 10 seconds, even if no modification is needed in the view. 
This is more sensible on large project but it is visible even on small one.  
This has been seen on Eclipse 3.0 and CDT 2.0
release version on Linux (both GTK and Motif) and Solaris Motif.

This bug is a duplicate of PR #69330 (already solved).
Try getting a newer version of CDT.
