Description Victor Costan CLA 2004-07-09 13:13:47 EDT
I formatted code by pressing Ctrl+F. I think this caused major modifications
to the file. I immediately got an "Error running operations" dialogbox
saying "Initializing QuickDiff (Error:
Unable to get document content. Left document type: class
org.eclipse.jface.text.Document; right document type: class
org.eclipse.jdt.internal.ui.javaeditor.PartiallySynchronizedDocument."

This is not the only instance of the bug -- I got it multiple times while
running pre-3.0 integration builds that were marked as "all tests passed". I
delayed reporting the bug because I see no pattern, and I'm not sure it
belongs to the JDT (it may be in the CVS module, I'm not sure).

I'm running Eclipse 3.0 final, on Windows XP, default memory settings, JDK
1.4.2_05.

As of now 'LATER' and 'REMIND' resolutions are no longer supported.
Please reopen this bug if it is still valid for you.
