Description Balasubramaniyan K CLA 2004-07-02 11:40:48 EDT
When we export a project as Export -> Deployable feature option, the shared
libraries looses its permission level.

How to reproduce?
1)There are files by name libspawner.so and libpty.so in
org.eclipse.cdt.core.linux/os/linux/x86. I gave them all rights / permission
ie., 777.

2)Using Export -> Deployable feature, export the plugin as xyz.zip.

3)Unzip this file.

4) Now go and check the permission of those shared file, it will not have 777
permission.

Can somebody help me to find out a work around for this issue ?

PR was not targeted to any particular release. Changing target milestone to 2.1

I don't think this has anything at all to do with the CDT, but it shouldn't
gate the release. I am marking this future.

Future means you commit to fix it in the Future. Inboxes can't make committments. Moving to '--'.
