Description Kurt Guenther CLA 2004-07-01 19:07:20 EDT
Occasionally, the code completion will get stuck in a mode where after
completion the cursor is left 2 lines down and on the left side of the screen.
Once this occurs, I need to restart eclipse to get it working properly again.

It's seems completely random. Sometimes it will occur within minutes of
starting eclipse and other times it will take 2 hours to see the same problem.

We need more information to do anything. Please reopen after providing it.

- which build? Eclipse Platform or Eclipse SDK installed?
- any other plug-ins installed? If so which ones?
- anything in .log?

>I need to restart eclipse to get it working properly again
- doesn't close and reopen the editor help?

Tom, have you seen anything like this?

I have seen this, but could not reproduce yet. When I had it, it would even go
away after pressing 'Esc' a couple of times, which makes me suspect some unleft
linked mode...

Get rid of deprecated state.
