CTRL+N opens New... wizard.

User looking for "Java Project" sees "Java" subgroup and expands.
"Java Project" is not located under that group.

Which perspective are you in. In Resource perspective and Java perspective the 
New Java Project shows up top level and under the Java folder.

I'm not sure. Probably the Resource Perspective because it was a new workspace.

Maybe it was there and I was looking for "Java/Project" instead of "Java/Java 
Project".

As of now 'LATER' and 'REMIND' resolutions are no longer supported.
Please reopen this bug if it is still valid for you.
