In Java Perspective with both Package and Hierarchy View 

Java Preferences
[] Link Packages View Selecton for active Editor
[] Link Type Hierarchy View to Active Editor 

With Link Type Hierarchy View to Active Editor checked
moving between editor windows DOES NOT update Hierarchy View - or at least no 
visible difference in UI beahvior with check on/off

Behavior is appears correct for "Link Packages View Selecton for active Editor"
for Packages View

it's only the selection that is liked, not the hierarchy input (would be too 
expensive)
if the hierarchy does not contain a type in the editor, nothing happens.

works for me in 11211. Ok to close?
