cod assist popup menu selection colors are extremely close to the popup background color on 
linux+gtk (and possibly osx too, i can't recall), making it very difficult to determine which item is 
the current selection. 
 
There seems to be no way to configure this setting as well, unless i'm just missing it.

Having the same problem (linux+gtk) - selection is invisible.  Changing setting
for background color of menu does help as custom background color appears for a
moment then is replaced with the off-white default.
