- On the 'Color and Fonts' preference page, open the 'Java' node
- The only entry is again a sub folder 'Editor'
 -> You have to open again to see what's inside

In the current situation it might be better to flatten this tree. Other text
fonts are also directly under the root node

verified that the font setting is immediately below the "Java" node.
