I have no idea what is going on but I just had to roll back to 2023-03 because of massive problems with 2023-12. I would be working checking files in via commit and synchronize like I've always done. I would do some small number of git transactions both from Eclipse and the command line and all of sudden all working files would be deleted and show up as question-marks in Eclipse.

I would have to fix this by moving the files aside, doing a hard git reset, and copying the files back into place. I've _never_ had to do this before so something is really wrong.

I'm on a M3 running OSX 14.2.1 running git command-line version 2.24.3 (Apple Git-128).

A quick look down the eclipse bug list doesn't show a dup but my apologies if this has already been reported.
