Description Ed Willink CLA 2023-10-20 05:07:17 EDT
Version: 2023-12 (4.30)
Build id: I20230927-1800
MWE2 2.15.0.v20230826-1559
Xtext2.33.0.v20231002-0654
Windows 11

After comparing two MWE2 files

(specifically
/org.eclipse.ocl.examples.build/src/org/eclipse/ocl/examples/build/GenerateEssentialOCLEditor.mwe2
and
/org.eclipse.qvtd.build/src/org/eclipse/qvtd/build/mwe2/GenerateQVTbaseEditor.mwe2
opened from two file selection in Package Explorer)

any attempt to use the MWE2 compare visualization as an editor results in an additional MWE2 editor being opened for the edit and a pop-up warning that there is now a concurrent dirty edit offering to lose changes.

Workaround: select the Text compare mode.

Tryyiung to find the correct location, I went to the PMI and used Report Bug from https://projects.eclipse.org/projects/modeling.emf.mwe/developer

If there is somewhere new, you need to update PMI to tell me the spelling since GitHub/Gitlab has no sensible cover page to find Eclipse projects. Even the Bugzilla cover page is better in that it informs of platform locations.
