The descrption of Egerrit issue

The Egerrit plugin version 1.4.0 is working fine only with JDK 8 for applications using Eclipse V4.14.0 and lower.
Please rebuild Egerrit plugin with JDK 11, then release a new version 1.5.0 to Market Place in Eclipse to make it working for applications using Eclipse V4.15.0 and above.

It was the same issue as this 568186 – NullPointerException (eclipse.org)

Thanks & Regards,
Viet-Hung Phan

Can I get an update on when this issue will be fixed? Viet-Hung Phan supplied us with a patch, but it no longer works with the latest EGerrit.
Thanks in advance, Jim

Hi Eclipse team,

Because all members who have worked in Egerrit team has been leaving Ericsson, I am new and don't know the process how to deliver a new egerrit patch for JDK 11 to users who will be working with Eclipse 4.15 and above. I wonder if someone in Eclipse team can help me to rebuild Egerrit plugin with JDK 11, then release a new version 1.5.0 to Market Place in Eclipse to make it working for applications using Eclipse V4.15.0 and above.

Otherwise I appreciate if someone in Eclipse team can show me how to do it.

NB: For this moment, I can only deliver individually the working egerrit patch for JDK 11 to user via email or teams.

Thanks & Regards,
Viet-Hung Phan

Hi Viet-Hung,
I just ported our internal plug-in to Eclipse 2023-03, which requires JDK 17. Can this issue be fixed?
Thanks, Jim
