If all the breakpoints are skipped, user should get a warning. Also if there is an option of "unskip all and continue", that will be even better. Most times we realise all breakpoints are skipped during debugging. Then we have to unskip it and run it again. This warning will help in all such use cases.
If such a function is added there should be an option if this warning should be displayed or not in the preferences. It could also be set when the warning is shown like in other situations with an option like "[ ] do not show this warning again", because e.g. I sometimes intentionally want to start my application with all breakpoints disabled, then do some interaction, and only then enable the breakpoints.
This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant. -- The automated Eclipse Genie.
