Project settings with warning message

Even a full java 17 JDK is configured setting module path for JavaSE-17 failed with error message "Build path entry is missing: org.eclipse.jdt.launching.JRE_CONTAINER/org.eclipse.jdt.internal.debug.ui.launcher.StandardVMType/JavaSE-17"

Any errors in the log? Could it be, it is related to the specific JDK used? Could you try with some other vendor?

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.
