Description Gerald Cata CLA 2021-11-17 17:20:48 EST
Recent Eclipse releases are encountering URL errors due to site certificates not being included in the cacerts keystore. When upgrading from a previous version of the Eclipse platform, it would be extremely useful to be able to import the certificates that have been added in the previous platform version to the upgrade version.

Even if the user would have to confirm the addition of each certificate from the previous version that does not exist in the current platform version, it would be better than the haphazard process that exists currently.

One example that is quite egregious because it is one of the platform components that presents the error.
