1. Open a type hierarchy with lots of elements. 2. Select a (anonymous) class in the type hierarchy tree by double click to open an editor. 3. Paste some code that triggers automatic "organize imports" in the editor. 4. Press Ctrl + S to save the editor contents. => The currently selected item in the hierarchy tree gets deselected and the root element of the tree gets selected. After that you have to manually search through the tree in order to find the position where to resume work. This can be very tedious, especially when most of the labels in the tree are the same, as it is when you have many anonymous classes.
This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant. -- The automated Eclipse Genie.
