Hello, I'm getting this error "If you wish to use a different email address you must first change the primary email address associated with your account" when I try to change my email address on https://accounts.eclipse.org/users/ngrainawi/edit; however, I don't see any way to "change the primary email address" other than this one field. I'm trying to change it to quic_nasserg@quicinc.com. Thanks, Nasser
Also, when I try to add this email address as an additional Gerrit email address, I click the verification link and I get this error from Gerrit: Error 422 (Unprocessable Entity): invalid token Endpoint: /r/config/server/email.confirm
Hi Nasser, You should be getting this error if you have the "Re-execute ECA" checkbox clicked. It's not possible to update an email address at the same time as re-executing your ECA. Can you tell me if you have clicked on this checkbox before saving the form? Thanks.
Hi Eric, Yes, I did have it checked! I've changed the email now (and then separately was able to "Re-execute ECA"). However, now I get "Authentication failed." when trying to log into Gerrit (https://git.eclipse.org/r).
@webmaster, Is it possible that the email change takes a little bit of time before Gerrit is synced?

(In reply to Eric Poirier from comment #4) It should be 'instant' once the mail change has been processed by the system. I've added some debugging details to see if something is failing. In the mean time I've run things manually so let us know if that resolves things. -M.

I don't know if anyone did anything more, but thanks for the help!
