just an empty context root

I tried to make a change with the text input box by the Context root label, hit the Apply button and Rename Context Root popup window showed up, so I hit OK button but nothing changed. The issue was not occured when I delete the project resources from the workspace and re-import the same project. Of course we all know turning off and on is one of the absolute solutions but I just want to make it right.

So is the lack of a value the problem, or that it's not allowed to be empty? Could you elaborate on the steps involved--I'm not sure what you're trying to explain.
