I am a Java programmer at Eclipse. When I try to write in Hebrew, the direction of the words is reversed - for example: when I want to write System.out.println ("הכנס ציוני תלמידים לפי מספרם ברשימה"); ("Enter student scores according to their number in the list") Eclipse changes this to System.out.println ("ברשימה מספרם לפי תלמידים ציוני הכנס"); ("list the in number their to according scores student Enter")
I'm experiencing the same issue. After recieving a new development machine I performed a clean install using the latest version (2020-12 4.18.0 build id 20201210-1552) and immediately noticed this issue. The installation on my previous machine was Neon.3 4.6.3 build id 20170314-1500 so this doesn't help much in identifying what caused this change in behaviour.
This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant. -- The automated Eclipse Genie.
