Description Phil Beauvoir CLA 2020-09-08 05:00:37 EDT
This is not a new issue, and has been present for some time but I thought I'd get round to reporting it.

1. In the Eclipse Product Export Wizard select a product configuration and these options:

"Generate p2 repository" - checked
"Export for multiple platforms" - checked

2. In the next page of the wizard select these:

linux (gtk/x86_64)
macosx (cocoa/x86_64)
win32/x86_64)

3. Click Finish.

After the export completes, the top-level outputted files and directories are:

linux.gtk.x86_64
MacOS
macosx.cocoa.x86_64
repository
Resources
win32.win32.x86_64
Info.plist

The directories "MacOS", "Resources" and the file "Info.plist" should be in the "macosx.cocoa.x86_64" directory but they at top level. This is wrong.

If the wizard is run with "Generate p2 repository" unchecked then the output structure is correct.

Does you product build fine using a recent version of Tycho?

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
