copy java class code into source folder in Package Explorer with Hierarchical Package Presentation

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open `Project Explorer`

2. If the `Package Presentation` is not `Hierarchical`, change it to `Hierarchical`

3. Create a `Java Project` or `Maven Project`

4. Copy the code below into source folder:

--------------------------------
package com.mycompany.example;

public class TestClass {

}
--------------------------------

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.
