Description Gayan Perera CLA 2020-06-11 14:14:27 EDT
Add a preference only to show methods parameter name code minnings for literals. Some time having minnings for variables which doesn't match the parameter name might be cluttering the UI. The option is already implemented in https://github.com/angelozerr/jdt-codemining. So if possible i would like to have it by default in Eclipse.

@Lars @Mickael what do you think ?
Comment 2 Mickael Istria CLA 2020-06-11 14:21:52 EDT
I personally like the current behaviour and would totally miss code-minings on non literal as I enjoy them even for variables or expressions; so I am personally not so enthusiast about it.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
