This is a spotbugs warning for all volatile fields in this class: Increment of volatile field org.eclipse.jdt.internal.junit.model.TestRunSession.fAssumptionFailureCount in org.eclipse.jdt.internal.junit.model.TestRunSession$TestSessionNotifier.testEnded(String, String) This code increments a volatile field. Increments of volatile fields aren't atomic. If more than one thread is incrementing the field at the same time, increments could be lost. Not sure if this is a false positive in this environment and jdt.ui s current start approach. Should not hurt to fix it anyway.
This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.
