Description Manuel Parrao CLA 2020-06-01 13:44:19 EDT
Using the Remote Java Application for debugging WebSphere applications on Z/OS where simple and small applications work fine, the main app (which has around 14k classes) is detaching form the remote Java debug port.

The process will be the following:
1.- Set a breakpoint on the app
2.- Attach the debugger to the remote application
3.- Start a batch which is in charge to execute the web service
4.- The eclipse hangs for 5 minutes and then disconnects
5.- We notice that the breakpoint (or maybe nothing) gets executed until the debugger closes the connection

It is important to mention that this is only happening on an specific application and it didn't happened before, however as the app grew it start happening more frequently until it happened always. So this may be related with the size of the application?

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
