Get pde.core from https://git.eclipse.org/c/pde/eclipse.pde.ui.git/

Search for removeFromJavaSearch in * ( search in File->Search)
Double click on method ( line 313) in search view
File SearchablePluginsManager opens
Try to put breakpoint on line 314.

It doesnt put breakpoint.

Note: This works few times but mostly it didnt work. I tried 7 to 8 times it didnt work 5 times but did work a couple of time. Typically it doesnt work in the 1st attempt.

Tried on Mac , could not reproduce in 10 attempts.

Andrey, can you please try it out ( if you have time). I am working on RHEL, so it is possible that it could be RHEL related.

Works fine for me (RHEL 7.4), using I20200528-0200

Any errors in the log?

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
