Repro project

Finally got round to a repro for something that has confused me for years ...

Using the attached project, Run As JUnit tsst; it passes.

Set a breakpoint within the XMIResourceImpl(URI uri) constructor.

Debug AS JUnit test; hits breakpoint in XMIResourceImpl.

Variables View shows this : EcoreResourceFactoryImpl$1

Open Declared Type for EcoreResourceFactoryImpl$1

(line 34 to 41 have a distinctive shading whose utility I have never understood.)

Double click at start of line 42. No breakpoint is set.

BUG. If I can see the source line, and the menu offers a not-greyed-out Toggle Breakpoint, then that is what should happen.

(Probably closely related to this is a similar phenomenon whereby the breakpoint does toggle and is shown toggling in the Breakpoint View but no breakp[oint marker is shown at the start of the breakpoint ine.)

e.g Bug 560212 which nobody has yet looked at.
Comment 2 Eclipse Genie CLA 2022-05-23 07:27:00 EDT
This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
