We'll use this bug to track the release

We require IP Team approval of the IP Log.

We require PMC approval of the release and review materials.

I've scheduled the release review to conclude on June 3rd, pending approval from the PMC regarding the release materials.

Kai Hudalla just told me that there is no need for a new PMC release review because there's a successful one from Dec 2019: see https://www.eclipse.org/lists/iot-pmc/msg07298.html

Is that sufficient?

Hi Erik, 
in fact Kai is right. According to the Eclipse Handbook, a project team may declare official major or minor releases and distribute associated products for up to one year following a successful release or progress review. Reviews are not required for bug-fix/service releases. Intellectual property however, must be properly accounted for and tracked at all times.
Having said this I'll close this bug and you can go ahead with the release.
