Screen shot of eclipse error

Hi,

I'm working on the virtual desktop and connecting through approved VPN. Eclipse luna is installed on that server having windows 10 operating system. Every time when I'm switching the internet connection then eclipse getting closed by giving an error eclipse.exe has stopped working.
PFA screenshot for the same.

Switching the internet connection for eg. mobile hotspot to a home wifi network.

Thanks,
Sarthak.

I'm not sure this is a proper use of Eclipse :)

How do other interactive applications behave when operated over switched network connections?

First of all I recommend you update Eclipse to a recent version, since your operating system appears to be much newer the your version of Eclipse. Eclipse luna is many years behind and will certainly not be fixed.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.

Hello Sarthak. Please respond to Stephan's questions. Did you update your Eclipse as suggested by Stephan and did that fix the problem or does it continue? What version did you download? If there is no response, there isn't any way we can help and we'll close this bug. If necessary you can always open a new bug against our latest Eclipse.
