Created attachment 281160 [details] colored preview of pull-up refactoring Using I20191125-1800, the coloring in the refactoring preview is wrong: removals are shown with green background, additions have a red background. At first I thought this to be caused by allocating left/right panes (which would make it a duplicate of bug 550896), but "Swap Left an Right View" takes the wrong color along.

I'm not sure if bug 508257 and bug 516450 have a finger in the pie here?
This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant. -- The automated Eclipse Genie.
Still an issue in the newest Eclipse. (In reply to Stephan Herrmann from comment #2) > I'm not sure if bug 508257 and bug 516450 have a finger in the pie here? From what I have tested and what was written so far, the "Swap left and right" option and behavior, while it might be _somewhat_ related to the root of the problem, DOESN'T affect the coloring problem described here. This is also supported by this statement from Lars Vogel at bug 550896: > Compare started to show colors in the 4.13 release, so I think this is unrelated. Please open a new bug, if the refactor dialog still uses wrong colors.
