When we are moving a shape and we release it on a property the shape disappear. 

Way to reproduce:

1. in a composite structure diagram
2. create a shape (right click add -> Note)
3. create a property without compartment
4. move to shape over the property and release it.

-> the shape disappear

-> if the shape is connected to every thing else with a connector (see Bug 553298) the connector seems reconnected into the property (with validation error since the connector end is not set correctly).
