File -> Import -> Git. There are two different wizards, one with "old" import as last operation, one with smart import as last operation. I guess this is from the times when we could not rely on smartimport being part of the egit target platform. We should change this to only have one wizard, to not confuse users.

I suggest to remove the old import wizard, and to use its icon and label for the "smart import" one.
