Description Cydnie Smith CLA 2019-07-30 11:33:27 EDT
We'll use this bug to track the release

We require IP Team approval of the IP Log.

We require PMC approval of the release and review materials.
Comment 1 Pierre Terree CLA 2019-09-05 06:41:13 EDT
OK
Comment 2 Wayne Beaton CLA 2019-09-09 17:06:56 EDT
The IP Log is approved.

The date on the release record is in the past. We'll need that updated to a future date. Assuming that you get PMC approval in time, the next best date to complete this review is September 18.

Thanks a lot for your help

Greetings,

Any updates on PMC approval? We would love to get this review scheduled in the September 18 slot; so, if you're having trouble gaining the approval, please let us know!

Hello Cydnie
 - I posted the PMC approval request on iot-pmc@eclipse.org ( https://www.eclipse.org/lists/iot-pmc/msg06577.html ).
 - I added the statement for security issue as requested by Jens Reimann, our mentor.
 - Finally the 3 Project Leads of the Eclipse Keyple project have set the flag "pmc_approved +" (Pierre Terree, Nicolas Generali, & Yvonne Yam).
What is missing to get the PMC approval?

We need a member of the PMC to indicate +1 on the mailing list; however, as you have fixed the issues that prevented an original +1, I have tentatively scheduled the review to conclude on Sept 18 (subject to their express approval).

Thanks,

Cydnie, I've added the "needinfo" keyword back to mitigate the risk that we forget to check for PMC approval before declaring success.

Note that this is not part of the process. That flag is used in a project-specific manner (e.g., the Eclipse PMC uses it to approve patches in the quiet period before a release). I bring this up primarily because I want to make it clear that "Project Lead" is a different role from "Project Management Committee" (PMC) member. For all release reviews, we require approval from the PMC of the project's Top Level Project (in this case, the Eclipse IoT PMC).

> What is missing to get the PMC approval?

That's between you and the PMC. Please resolve this via the iot-pmc list.

Thanks Wayne,
Well we finally got the PMC approval: https://www.eclipse.org/lists/iot-pmc/msg06582.html

Perfect! As noted, the release review has already been scheduled to conclude Sept 18.

I declare this review successful! Please continue with your release.
