Description Ansgar Radermacher CLA 2019-06-04 08:25:46 EDT
Languages such as C++ provide templates. Their use is quite simple - you can define a template binding while typing an attribute or parameter.
In UML, template bindings are more complex - the bound class needs to be defined explicitly with a template binding, before an attribute can be typed with it.

In order to facilitate the use of template bindings, two possible ways (or a combination thereof) is possible
(1) Facilitate the creation of "real" (i.e. UML) template bindings and the bound classes
(2) Enable the use of bindings while typing an element
