Languages such as C++ provide templates. Their use is quite simple - you can define a template binding while typing an attribute or parameter. In UML, template bindings are more complex - the bound class needs to be defined explicitly with a template binding, before an attribute can be typed with it. In order to facilitate the use of template bindings, two possible ways (or a combination thereof) is possible (1) Facilitate the creation of "real" (i.e. UML) template bindings and the bound classes (2) Enable the use of bindings while typing an element
