Description Thuy - Hanh Tran CLA 2019-02-19 12:18:12 EST
Is it possible to change the button in the cookie dialog to a more neutral color scheme since the dialog is shown across all Eclipse projects which have widely varying color palettes. The current orange clashes with some these different colors palettes.

Which cookie dialog? Please provide a screenshot and more details about that dialog by using the Plug-in Spy (Al+Shift+F1).

Cookie Dialog

The "Allow cookies" button is orange. Is there a way to make it a more neutral color scheme for all the other project websites that have a different color palette and would clash with the orange.

Can you attach a screenshot that shows the clash?

We can change the color.

Do you have a color suggestion that we should be using?

Neutral Color Palette Suggestion

I've attached a mockup of the color suggestion.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.

This is where we define the color palette:
https://github.com/EclipseFdn/solstice-assets/blob/master/js/privacy/eclipsefdn.cookie-consent.js#L131

I am moving this request to the solstice-assets project repo issue queue:
