download.eclipse.org/eclipse/downloads/drops becomes unavailable with the below error

21:06:29 [ERROR]    HTTP Server 'Bad Gateway' : http://download.eclipse.org/eclipse/updates/4.10-I-builds/I20181107-1800/plugins/org.eclipse.jdt.junit4.runtime_1.1.800.v20180829-0645.jar.pack.gz: HttpComponents connection error response code 502.

Similar issues have occurred 3 times in the last week.

I was able to obtain a specific error message and have tweaked our gateway according to docs.
