Thread dump

IIRC since Oxygen eclipse is creating a lot of "Update Plug-In Classpath" jobs when doing a full rebuild after "clean".

They seem to be blocking each other? Build is substantially slower than it used to be.

The attached thread dump is after restarting eclipse, which also seems to trigger a "Update Plug-In Classpath" and partial rebuild for no apparent reason. I tried to debug it but couldn't nail it down why this is happening without any apparent resource changes.

Running on Eclipse Photon, Windows 10, JDK 8.0.172

(This also happens on 4.9, which additionally runs into out of memory. Creating another bug).

Is this same as Bug 536990? Or a different one?

Can you check with d I20180808-2000 or later?

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
