Created attachment 275857 [details] Mock A common problem we see with new Eclipse RCP and plug-in is that they are confused by the fact the Add Plug-in dependency dialog from the MANIFEST.MF filters out existing dependencies in the MANIFEST.MF. IMHO a better solution would using a styled label provider and gray the exiting entries out and add a message - already included as a dependency. See mock.

For this bug I created a first patch. If a dependency is to be added, the existing imports are displayed with a different color. These can not be added again. I'm new to the Eclipse project, please write me what's missing.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant. -- The automated Eclipse Genie.
