I am using photon release (4.8.0) and not able to create a servlet using an existing servlet class. The dependencies are added properly but it shows error "No servlet exist to add".

Are you able to open the javax.servlet.Servlet type, in that project, from the Navigate menu, and then see its subtypes using the Hierarchy View?
