Related to Bug 529463

I am a developer for a product consuming Eclipse 4.2 and JGit 4.5.0. A customer of mine encountered the issue in bug 529463, but cannot upgrade to JGit 5, which has the fix, since it's not compatible with Eclipse 4.2. They experienced broken functionality when they tried.

I would like to ask to have the change set from 529463 applied to a feature patch for 4.5 please. Thanks!
