We'll use this bug to track the release

AFAICT (based on bundle versions), version 1.6 bits are included in the Photon builds and there's been no actual development activity on the project in more than a year. Is this release real?

Given how late we are in the process, I'm going to assume that the bundles that are currently in the repository are the intended ones. Since these appear to be the same bundles as were included in Oxygen, I've indicated that the version 1.7 release is the one that's included in Photon.

I'm marking this record WONTFIX for now. We can reopen when the project team is ready to do a 1.8 release.
