I have downloaded the latest oxygen version of eclipse today and unzipped it. Then i tried starting eclipse by double clicking on exe file. But its not getting started. I have tried downloaded from another mirror and repeated the same step but couldn't make it work.

Below are my system details.
Edition: Windows 10 Home Single Language
Version:1803
Installed on:12/05/2018
OS Build:17134.48
JDK installed:Java 8 Update 131

Also i have tried updating the JDK to JDK 10.0 but even that didn't work.

Please let me know if any further details needed.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. As such, we're closing this bug.
