Created attachment 274034 [details] find-replace-regex-info-icon.png The tiny little "i" icon in the Editor's Find/Replace dialog needs usability and accessibility improvements: - it is so tiny, that it is hard to see, and it has a teeny-tiny hit area - it doesn't take keyboard focus, so it is not operable with the keyboard, and the user can't open its tooltip with the keyboard - the color subtly changes from grey to blue when clicked. In order to fully pass accessibility requirements (i.e. "don't rely on color alone") the icon or its shape should change as well - the placement of the icon, and the wording of the tooltip, seem to imply that turning on regex only applies to Replace, but it actually applies to Find too Do we really need this little icon? Do lots of folks use it? If not, consider deleting it completely (because it clutters the dialog, it's confusing, and the identical functionality is available on the Options drop-down). If it is in fact useful and we want to keep it, then it needs a bit more design thinking to fix the above issues. (see also: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=512463)
