Description Stéphane Thibaudeau CLA 2018-04-10 19:08:10 EDT
I've encountered the same problem twice : when launching a M2Doc generation and with a custom feature of mine which creates a temporary modeling project and then closes and deletes it.

In both cases, I can see the Sirius session editor and the Amalgalm activity explorer automatically opening themselves. This can be kind of surprising and annoying for my end users. I know I can set a preference to disable automatic opening for these 2 editors but I have to handle the cases when my end user does not choose to use that preference.

It would be great if we had a means to avoid such behaviors. I have to confess I don't really have an idea about the way we could do that though.

I don't know yet what the correct approach would be here. I'm putting this in 6.1 to remember to work on/think about this, but it does not mean we'll have a fix in 6.1 (we may, if we end up finding a simple enough solution).
