Description Jayashree Dhar CLA 2018-03-25 01:11:20 EDT
Eclipse is opening very very slowly. I am on oxygen 3 with latest update. Ever since it's update it is taking huge to open.

Version: Oxygen.3 Release (4.7.3)
Build id: 20180308-1800

Any profiler data or at least some stack traces to demonstrate what exactly is slow? Any other abnormal observations like errors in the log?

Without such data, we will not be able to investigate.

By any chance, are you running Windows Defender? See Bug 548443.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
