New Formatter preference page M5 N&N entry needs better pictures
Could you be more specific?
(In reply to Mateusz Matela from comment #1) > Could you be more specific? They are not sharp.
You man scaled down? There are several scaled down images on this and other N&N pages. How else can you present something that exceeds the 520 pixels width limit?
(In reply to Mateusz Matela from comment #3) > You man scaled down? There are several scaled down images on this Yes, filed bugs for those too.

But the whole purpose of the first screenshot is to give an overview of the new profile editor window. So IMO showing it whole is more important than having readable text. Making a comic strip with different parts of the window would look weird. If having sharp images is suddenly so important, wouldn't it be better to change the 520 px limit? It's so 1990s... Even mobile devices today usually have more resolution than that.

The images in the news should also be clear and readable. Do you have any other suggestions on how to do that with the width restriction? > If having sharp images is suddenly so important, wouldn't it be better to > change the 520 px limit? It's so 1990s... One day left for M7!

As a casual reader and occasional contributor of N&N notes, I feel the current state is the best compromise between conflicting requirements. If you have a different perspective, you're free to do whatever you want with it.

Updated two screenshots. Removed the preview from the first one as the preview section is already shown in the last screenshot.
