While the core mechanism on how we migrate models silently works fine (i.e. how we plug into the XMI loading), there are several issues related to how the actual participants are written, how they are coordinated at runtime, and how we report (or not) the fact that these "migrations" (which sometimes are actual fixes for bugs) happen.

This will serve as a parent ticket to look at these in a global way and see how the framework itself can evolve.
