It would be very useful to provide the ability for a user to delete the associated blobs for an application.  For example, I have some synchronized preferences with Oomph that I would like to toss.

Aside: it turns out deleting the blobs isn't sufficient for the Oomph case as the preference recordings are turned into user setups, which I believe were under ~/.eclipse/org.eclipse.oomph.setup/setups/
