The screenshot doesn't help, what error message does it contain? Maybe you have installed Java 9. See https://wiki.eclipse.org/Configure_Eclipse_for_Java_9
I wonder what wording of the error message would help so that users will really "See the log file in .../eclipse-workspace/.metadata/.log" ;p
