When defining a diagram extension you have to specify the URI of the viewpoint to which the extension applies and the representation name. The help available in the properties view and in the Sirius help "Sirius specifier>diagram>Diagram Extensibility Features" specifies that extension containing only custom style can use regular expression. This is not true. To use regular expression, the diagram extension must contains only transient elements (custom style but also decorations). So the documentation must be updated at these two locations
The purpose of this bugzilla is analyzing what is the real behavior of diagram extensions using regex in their URI and make sure the documentation reflects this behavior.
