Description Jay Arthanareeswaran CLA 2017-09-04 08:23:28 EDT
The test case tests that a package element is part of the root elements when it contains package-info.java. But this has started failing with JRE 9. Still passes with JRE 8, though.

Need to investigate whether it is a bug with JRE or something changed in the spec.
Comment 1 Jay Arthanareeswaran CLA 2018-05-03 01:14:13 EDT
Looks like a case of package being represented by the type (package-info) rather than the package element. Need to study the documentation in detail to get better picture. Moving out.

No time, moving out.

Bulk move out of 4.11

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
