When installing Papyrus-RT (1.0) with the Papyrus-RT (Oomph) Installer or the Eclipse (Oomph) Installer, the splash of the new Papyrus-RT launcher is the Eclipse platform splash, rather than the Papyrus-RT splash, as it should be. Note that the Papyrus-RT Installer's own splash is correct (the Papyrus-RT splash), but not the one for the installed product. It should be possible to fix by adding an "Eclipse.ini" item in the Oomph setup model that sets the property -showsplash to org.eclipse.papyrusrt.rcp (the bundle that contains the splash), but this is not enough, because currently this bundle is not deployed to the update site (although the rcp feature is required by the Oomph setup). So we would need to include this bundle or feature in the top-level Papyrus-RT feature so that it is deployed (making sure we update its build.properties to include the splash file). The icon of the installed product is also the basic Eclipse icon rather than the Papyrus-RT icon, but there doesn't seem to be any way to fix this with Oomph.
